These fine trails offer up tropical flora along with informational tags. For those seeking water excitement, paddling is also available at the Rookery National Estuarine Reserve. Well over one hundred ten thousand acres beginning on Gordon Pass and reaching up into the heart of the Florida Everglades, this national park has a number of unique birds that call it home. Both canoeing & kayaking are popular here. The adventurous can also get ou and kayak into the Everglades.
Deep sea fishing excursions, charters that promise dolphin and manatee sightings and shelling are more of the areas favorite pastimes.
