Tampa Bay Beaches

The Tampa Bay Beaches include the barrier islands off Clearwater and St Pete Beach as the stretch of beachline south of the Tampa Bay which includes Holmes Beach and Anna Maria Island. Along the immediate Tampa Bay Beaches a traveler can visit many quaint, vacation towns such as Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores and several more. The area boasts plenty of things for vacationers to do from water sports like boating, fishing and parasailing, to museums like the Tampa Museaum of Art and Dali Museum in St Petersburg. The area has long been known as an ideal location for families with slow sloping beaches and gentle waves.

Tampa Bay Beaches

Clearwater Beach - is a well known beach and a favorite of vacationers from around the globe. The focal point of Clearwarer Beach is Pier 60 where sunset festivities begin each evening including entertainment and local artists along with spectacular sunsets.

Sand Key Park - is directly across the clearwater pass bridge and is known to be one of the best beaches in the continental USA.

Fort De Soto Park - includes seven miles of beach front, fishing and activities for everyone. It also has been ranked in the top ten beaches in the USA

Indian Shores - has some of the widest sand beaches in the area and is also home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary which is a fully operating rescue hospital.Indian Shores also has a nice boat ramp just south of the 699 bridge.

Treasure Island - has large public beaches with facilities and more. Wide gulf beaches give way to fabulous gulf views and John's Pass where the intracoastal and Gulf meet.

Maderia Beach - has a variety of beach access points and is the location of Johns Pass Village where you can shop, dine and rent all sorts of water sport activities or take a cruise or two

Indian Rocks Beach - has well over 20 beach access points and a variety of great local seafood and other dining options.
