For a few VISIT FLORIDA videos, I’ve had the privilege to visit Grayton Beach and Apalachicola and it’s always a treat to travel to this section of the state. As I think about those destinations, there’s another place right up here in northwest Florida that I’d love to visit again. It's St. George Island and it's roughly eight miles southeast of Apalachicola. To get here you’ll veer off U.S. 98 and then cross the sleek Bryant Patton Bridge, passing over the flotilla of oyster fishermen who work these waters.
