Subject: Absolutely Stunning

My wife and I wanted a place to get away from cell phones, email and the
normal craziness which is our lives. We stayed in an oceanfront room at the
Marriott in Frigate Bay and had the best vacation of our lives.

We ate at Mr. X's, strolled the beaches, visited Turtle Beach, toured the
island and generally relaxed. I do highly recommend a strong sunscreen. We
were using 50 spf and after several days in the sun I did get burned (but it
was worth it!).

Go to St Kitts now because I have a feeling once everyone find out about the
place it'll look a lot like St Thomas, Jamaica and the other island - too
crowded and overdeveloped. The fact that you can drive for miles on this tiny
island and not pass another car is truly amazing. The views of the coastline
out over the sugarcane and the mountains and their splendor was well worth
the trip alone.

The food was outstanding everywhere we ate. Marshall's had unbelievable
service and Ciao in Frigate Bay had the friendliest owner and best Italian
Food on the island (that we tried)

Subject: We Loved the Island

We stayed at the Timothy Beach Resort which is on the quiet side of Frigate
Bay, away from the larger Marriott and its craziness. The Carribean side has
wonderful sunsets, Great beaches (just ask the people from the Marriott who
were on our beach every day). Most of all we loved the people.

Our Driver, a Mr Levine (pronounced Le-Vine) was absolutely a joy. He was
recommended by a local and he was definitely a wealth of knowledge. We
kept his card, called him whenever we needed to go farther than our legs
could take us, and plan to use him again when we return. Don't miss a tour of
the island with a local taxi driver, visit Bassettiere once, but spend your time
just roaming. You'll absolutely love this hidden gem of an island.
